Your journey here has been full of creative ideas and innovation. Fueled by your passion and integrity, your team has weathered the storm of a pandemic to emerge at the top. Therefore, congratulations, and savor every bit of the weekend.
UW-Platteville’s students and faculty congratulate every one of you for putting in the work and earning an invitation to the 2021 ASCE Concrete Canoe Competition. You inspire us as we strive to uphold the traditions, core values, and spirit of competition through our computers virtually. We also congratulate the ASCE Sustainable Solutions and ASCE UESI Surveying teams for your hard work and efforts and look forward to supporting these competitions and helping them grow.
For us at UW-Platteville, the process of hosting started with planning for in-person competitions. During the pandemic, we continued to plan for in-person competitions in hopes of the pandemic ending by the time the competitions began. However, we are still currently in a pandemic and must follow proper safety procedures. Therefore, for the first time, the ASCE Concrete Canoe, ASCE Sustainable Solutions, and ASCE UESI Surveying Competitions are virtual. Be sure to take advantage of the full virtual experience by participating in the virtual social activities and sessions that will be occurring throughout the weekend.
Please allow us to congratulate you once again on earning an invitation to the 2021 ASCE Concrete Canoe, ASCE Sustainable Solutions, and ASCE UESI Surveying Competitions from UW-Platteville through your computer. We are patiently waiting for you to join us from your home on June 25th!
